Available on green 2xLP. In contrast, the track 'Strong Capsule' is quite uptempo and is more reminiscent of the more modern works of Yellow Magic Orchestra. It's good to have these tracks halfway on the album, as it creates some air and alleviates the weight of 'Idly'. I would just skip through the tracks, write down a shallow opinion and get on with my life. All of my preferred musical genres commonly have a very steady beat, so I didn't look forward to spending 70 minutes without my beloved realm of forever repeating bassdrum, snare and hi-hats.

Hybrid Leisureland - Stripe Borderline So here was my plan of action: Long-stretched dreamy chords, where the final track 'Segmentation' offers a little more playful futuristic fantasy imagery then more sterile 'Second Reason'.

Ok, the opening track 'Bird Library' does give the impression of the spacy pads I mentioned before, but listen carefully and you'll discover the cohesion of the layering involved. If i'd have to describe it into one genre, i'd say we're dealing with instrumental ambient electronica and the lack of percussion only adds to the wondrous atmosphere that surrounds this album.
